An engineering and geological study will be conducted on 90 hectares of land in the Zamiin-Uud Free Zone

The Zamiin-Uud Free Zone Governor’s administration is implementing Economic Cooperation Zone Development Project funded by the Asian Development Bank. Within the framework of the project, “Mintores” LLC was selected to carry out engineering-geological research such as detailed analysis of soil pollution and reduce soil pollution, water infiltrated into the ground of polluted soil in the free zone, and they have started its work according to the schedule.

The company will drill more than 120 boreholes in a total area of 90 hectares, including the road between “Zamiin-Uud” free zone and Zamiin-Uud AN-3 road, a parking lot, a planned entrance and exiting gate, an old sewage disposal site in Zamiin-Uud soum, and its surrounding area,  water infiltrated into the ground of polluted soil area identified in 2008 as a result of an engineering-geological survey conducted on 900 hectares of the free zone and also will conduct engineering-geological, geotechnical and water infiltrated into the ground of polluted soil surveys in full compliance with relevant laws, regulations, rules, and standards of Mongolia.
