Resolution of the Government on some measures to be taken to implement the “Agreement between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on the Establishment of the Mongolia-China Zamiin-Uud and Erenhot Economic Cooperation Zones” was approved on March 9, 2022.
Thus, the Mongolian side of the Joint Coordinating Council will be chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and an established group consisting of relevant ministers. Work is currently underway to establish the next issues, the Joint Executive and Joint Management Boards.
To ensure and intensify the implementation of the above agreement, today / March 15, 2022 / N.Ankhbayar, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kh. Batjargal, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Development, T.Badral, Ambassador of Mongolia to China, A.Enkhzul, Governor of “Zamiin-Uud” Free Zone, held an online meeting with officials from Hohhot and Erenhot Consulates and exchanged views.
The meeting discussed the preparation for the implementation of the agreement, the date of the Mongolian side meeting of the Joint Coordination Council of the Cooperation Zone, and further measures to be taken.
