A sewage treatment plant to purify wastewater of the Zamiin-Uud soum and “Zamiin-Uud” free zone has been put into operation. With the commissioning of this sewage system, it will clean wastewater that is used by 20,000 people and offices in the soum. It will produce water that can be used for other purposes and pumped back through the gray water pipeline. As a result, the gray water can be used for non-drinking purposes, as well as for irrigation of green areas, greenhouses, and lawns. In addition, business entities operating in the “Zamiin-Uud” free zone will be connected to the sewerage system in the future.
