Today/ March 12, 2022 /, The Minister of Nature, Environment and Tourism B. Bat-Erdene and representatives of relevant departments got acquainted with the activities and development of the “Zamiin-Uud” free zone located in Zamiin-Uud soum of Dornogovi aimag.
A. Enkhzul, the Governor of “Zamiin-Uud” Free Zone, gave a detailed presentation on the current situation of the free zone, ongoing projects, companies that have invested and started their infrastructure construction works, and thanked him for getting personally acquainted with the development of the free zone. Governor A. Enkhzul wanted to support from Minister establishing agro-park in the Free Zone being a green city-green zone
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Nature, Environment and Tourism, B. Bat-Erdene expressed that he will support the development of the tourism zone and the project to establish an agro-park in the Gobi region under the “Billion Tree” program in the “Zamiin-Uud” free zone.
The Zamiin-Uud Free Zone is working to develop and implement projects and programs to create green spaces, agro-parks, and gardens on 20 hectares of land to improve regional development, reduce air pollution and reduce desertification. It also aims to create a cross-border tourism zone in the free zone.
