A thermal plant with a capacity of 90 megawatts was built in Zamiin-Uud soum and 5 central heating transfer substations were installed in the free zone together with the relevant network. Starting from October 2021, the Zamiin-Uud free zone and Zamiin-Uud soum connected to the thermal plant and began to provide heating to customers according to the decision to allocate 1.5 billion MNT from the Government’s reserve for additional funding for operating the Zamiin-Uud Thermal Plant.
The plant has three licenses has taken from the Energy Regulatory Commission to generate, transfer and distribute heat, and is operating without interruption and passed the winter peak.
