Meeting Held with Enterprises and Organizations in Tianjin, China to Attract Investment to the Zamiin-Uud–Erenhot Economic Cooperation Zone

In order to accelerate the development of the Mongolia–China Zamyn-Uud–Erenhot Economic Cooperation Zone and attract investment, a meeting was held on July 5, 2025, in Tianjin, China. The meeting was attended by representatives from over 20 enterprises and organizations from both Mongolia and China, along with officials from the Zamyn-Uud Free Zone Administration and relevant authorities from Erenhot City, Inner Mongolia of the People’s Republic of China.

During the meeting, the two sides presented information on the current state, development opportunities, infrastructure, and legal environment of the free zone to the attending enterprises. They also exchanged information and ideas. Additionally, the delegation visited several businesses in Tianjin, including those in the construction materials sector, high-tech glass production, smart water systems, ready-made food manufacturing, and pipe manufacturing, gaining insights and studying best practices.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties discussed key issues such as free zone development policies, infrastructure improvement, investment, technological cooperation, production and logistics integration, and the enhancement of the legal and regulatory framework. They explored potential solutions to existing challenges.

Participating companies also introduced potential projects that could be implemented within the free zone and expressed a strong interest in future cooperation and investment. The meeting proved to be productive, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration and mutual benefit.
