Within the framework of the agreement to establish \u201cZamyn Uud-Erlian Economic Cooperation Zone”,\u00a0 official \u00a0meeting between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the People’s Republic of China was held three times and the fourth meeting \u00a0held on 11-12 March 2019 in Beijing, China.<\/p>\n
At the meeting, from Mongolian side,\u00a0 Mrs Sayanaa who is senior advisor of Deputy Prime Ministers’ administration led the representatives\u00a0 of Mongolia by the order of the Deputy Prime Minister and also Mrs.Battsetseg, Deputy director of Economic and Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia\u00a0 including 19 representatives of governmental organizations,\u00a0 a draft negotiating team with the Chinese side that the agreement to establish \u201cZamyn Uud-Erlian Economic Cooperation Zone\u201d between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of People\u2019s Republic of China, Chinese side led by\u00a0 Mr. Ju Bean who is deputy head of investment department of China\u2019s Ministry of Commerce,\u00a0 and related representatives consist of 45 representatives totally\u00a0 64 people of \u00a0government agencies participated in it.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, two sides discussed the draft of the “Agreement of the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the People’s Republic of China to establish\u00a0 Zamiin Uud \u2013Erlian \u00a0Economic Cooperation Zone ” by each article on the content and agreed on it . The agreement draft was successfully signed.<\/p>\n
Objectives of the agreement proposal is “The two sides will develop a favorable environment for the development of Zamyn-Uud and Erlian economic cooperation zones in order to develop regional economic cooperation in \u00a0the border areas of\u00a0 Mongolia and China, creating favorable conditions for production, service, trade and investment activities in cooperation zones, to develop as a benchmark cooperation zone for the friendly cooperation of China and Mongolia ”<\/p>\n
