On 3rd of September 2016 the round table conference was held regarding trans-border zone on economic cooperation in Erenhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, People’s Republic of China.
During the conference Parties emphasized the effectiveness of intensifying the infrastructure cooperation of bordering regions of three countries that became an efficient struggle on aligning the initiatives “The Silk road” of China, “The Steppe road” of Mongolia, “The Eurasian Economic Union” of Russia; integrating the infrastructure and industry; providing consistent development of trade and policy; exposing advantages of market and industry.
In the further, with the purpose to establish administrative management, an integrated control system of custom, quarantine, monitoring, border security and emergency equipment at the border line that connects two zones, Parties shall launch necessary measures that adhere an integrated requirement provided by the General planning on establishing trans-border free zone approved by the Ministry of Industry of Mongolia and the Ministry of Trade of the People’s Republic of China and “The model of intensifying management and control system in custom area to make open, accessible port”.
Furthermore, parties mutually agreed to intensify and improve the development works of trans-border zone on economic cooperation at Zamyn-Uud-Ereen, between Mongolia and China. In this connection the Chinese party expressed its readiness for launching the construction work of infrastructure and road communication immediately and simultaneously with the development works of the Mongolian party.
As well as, parties promised to intensify industrial collaboration and formulate regulation of border policy related to custom safety, quarantine etc…, management techniques, rules and procedures in free zone after exploring related experience from foreign and domestic free zones.
